- What pre-cautions need to be followed when storing water-based PU adhesive? a. Under normal storage condition, the expiration date is 6 months.
b. The storage temperature should be between 15~25℃.Water-based PU adhesives are extremely sensitive to low temperature; therefore, if the water-based PU adhesive is frozen, its internal structure will change, making it unusable. The maximum acceptable temperature is 35℃, and anything over that will likely cause decomposition of the water-based PU adhesive. Consequently, affecting its bonding ability. - How do you deal with overly high/low environmental temperatures? a. It is suggested that the factory maintains a storage warehouse temperature of between 15~25℃ in order to ensure adhesive quality.
b. If the room temperature is too low, an air conditioner can be installed. Temperature should be kept above 10℃. (Use a constant-temperature container for transportation).
c. When the temperature is too high, the factory can use a blower or sprinkler system to reduce the temperature and keep the temperature under 35℃.
